If you sign up for a KMK Optometry Board Exam Review Course, all of these services are provided for you:

• Prior to the course you will receive our optometry board exam review textbook (subject to ordering time). The 2008 textbook has been updated and expanded to reflect the recent changes in the board exam.     

• The course will cover all major topics referenced on the NBEO Part I Board Exam outline. Lectures are full of clinical examples, with acronyms, pictures, and stories used to emphasize important concepts.

• After the course is complete, you will receive over 300 review questions that stress important specifics from our lectures.

• The last week prior to the exam you will receive a daily email called "Tip of the Day." These are 2-3 page daily emails that go through important concepts from each chapter one last time prior to the exam. Essentially, they serve as an organized review tool for last minute preparation.                                                                                               

• Beginning in late Fall 2008, students will have access to online study resources.

Cost-Comparison Analysis

Kaplan offers classroom courses for the OAT at $1,299 and the LSAT for $1,299. The cost of our course is approximately $460 -- and our program extends far beyond what a typical review course offers. As a KMK participant, you will receive our Part I optometry boards review textbook, classroom instruction, review questions, email tips, online study resources, and email support from the KMK team.
